What Attracted You To The Field of Nursing?
Work At Home Opportunities
Last First Name: J. Stilley
License degrees: RN
E-mail Address: nurse@hez.com
City: Murray
State: Utah
What kind of nursing do you do: Homecare resp. general teaching
Website: httpwww.hez.com/r.htm
Marital Status: single
Nationality: Born in USA Irish French Dutch English

How many years have you been practicing as a nurse: 21

Would you recommend the field: The profession needs to improve its control flexibility pay Home care and your own business is a good place to gain these benefits.
Employment changes in career: 7
Reason for the change: Better pay more control more flexibility.
If you lost your job tomorrow how easily do you feel you find new employment: Home care usually has something available for immediate cash how ever agencies take too much for them self always have they take advantage of the nurse due to the nurse not receiving business management with the nurses license. This does not have to be nurses can work with each other on their own and receive a large increase in pay

In how many years would you like to retire: I would like to retire in 2-5 years sorry to say my nursing is not making that possible but a 2nd income I have done a lot of research in the area and realize everyone needs an income that continues if they are working or not many pension plans are falling through due to poor investment on the part of the plan and even great incomes working as a license medical professional stop when one becomes sick retires losses a job. Many times the only way to gain more income is to put in more hours I looking for less hours more flexibility so I can be with my family loved ones and do many of the things I enjoy and always wanted to do.

Have you started any type of retirement fund: The old social security but realized that's as good as nothing so have a great plan for income for me and my child that will continue if I work or not and can be passed down to my child
Would this travel : That's what so great I can go any where or stop working all together and it will always be there.
Do you feel having certified Patient Educational Materials on the WWW would be beneficial: The Patient needs to learn as much as possible since their care is being placed back in their hands due to insurance costs and cut backs.

Nursing School you attend if applicable: Always learning more ceu
Where do you work: home care own business
Do you carry a personal malpractice insurance policy why or why not: not at this time not needed
Your most pressing concerns with the profession and healthcare: Many of these I mentioned. Nurses need to realize their power to gain the benefits pay hours flexibility in their jobs in each other They need to work together as diploma BSN Masters, home care specialty recovery post op intensive care ER. Too many times nurses out of fear blame over tiredness stress take it out on them self other nursing staff in their profession.

This weakens the profession. Nurses of all types must learn to support help teach learn work with build up others in their field for a stronger profession. Nurses need to work with each other support each other and their profession. The only way they can do this is with income and benefit security. That is not there in hospitals or any income from employment. Nurses need a self owned business to do this. Self employed Home care can be this for the medical professional.

What attracted you to the field of Nursing: Serving
Favorite TV show and musical artists: Touched by an Angle Pretender Early Addition
Favorite food: Fish New York Italian Pasta Fresh vegetables..
Personal or favorite Quote: It all comes down to attitude
Qualities you admire in your friends & loved ones: Forgiveness patients understanding mercy listening caring gentleness
Pet Peeves: dishonesty those who blame others
Major turn-offs: Dishonesty people who smoke or drink to any kind of drunk.
Hobbies and activities you enjoy outside of work: ski earning gardening teaching children reading about investments.
Pets favorite vacation spots: Warm clean beach diving for shells snorkeling camping in mountains walks in the mountains or natural or formal gardens for a mini vacation.
Other areas of interest and expertise: Self employment Secure retirement income after you stop your job.
