What specific qualities and traits do you feel make nurses especially qualified to operate a business: With preventive medicine offering people alternatives and teaching them re prevention is already what we do in hospital settings. Why not make a living out of it. I literally quit my 46 000 yr job as of this April to spend more time doing my business. I believe that all nurses should understand the concept of preventive medicine and the business behind it

Your most pressing concerns with the profession and healthcare: Work load is increasing and help is not catching fast enough with it. Downsizing cross training with lack of sufficient time pay incentives diminishing etc... not only brings dismay to my attention but also to alot of nurses I ve networked with. I believe that all nurses should get together and form a big lobby against all these changes. We don t have enough of a rattle for congress and the rest of the world to hear we are large in population but not loculated our profession expertise compassion and line of work saves lives as well as as firefighters soldiers and police officers....why can t we get the same recognition as well. A fireman dies in the line of duty and million of them shows up in the funeral a nurse dies because of a needle stick or some strange diabolique disease and nobody shows up
